Harold Wilfred Sayer R.E. 1913 - 1993. Known to his friends as George, Sayer studied at the R.C.A as student of Robert Austin and Malcolme Osborne. he was elected an A.R.E in 1937, the year he qualified as a teacher, later becoming head of Design at St Paul's College, Cheltenham.
"The Hostel" Etching 1936 on cream Whatman, signed and dated in pencil and also numbered 2/75. Plate is 6¼ inches by 8½ inches on a sheet that is 8¼ inches by 11 inches. In good condition: two paper tab remnants to top corners, light mat tone to outer margins.
