John Hall Thorpe

John Hall Thorpe R.B.A. 1874 - 1947. Flower and landscape painter and wood engraver. Born Sydney, Australia. Studied Sydney Art Society and St Martin's School of Art, exhibited widely between 1912 and 1927. Best known for colourful woodcuts of flowers.
